Barra da Lagoa is a small fishing village in the city of Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil. It is situated at the mouth of a tidewater channel flows either in or out of the Island's sizable lagoon (lagoa). This tidewater channel is at the end of a long sweeping beach called praia de Moçambique that is a popular destination.
